Nice looking, somewhat effective
These are the types of things that you need to order the exact size for your bed. I ordered the king size, but my bed frame was actually a four poster california King, so I had to tug and pull at the fabric and get creative to make it fit. I managed to do that well enough. I feel they are romantic looking and great for rooms with vaulted ceilings, especially-or really tall ceilings. And they actually serve a purpose. I lived in Hawaii at the time when I bought this and had a lot of tropical bugs trying to come into my room through the screens and bite me. This will not keep ants out! But it really worked wonders on the midges and things. And I'd see them trapped in the netting, dead, when I woke up. Better there than on me!! The key is to keep the netting shut at night, though, or it's pointless.

Very happy w/ purchase.
Do not go off the picture. It really is cream and not white. It fit nicely over my queen size bed. I had to pull in the middle section a little because it hung a little too low for my liking but I would imagine over a king size bed there would be no need for adjustments.
Stop - don't buy this!
We just received the canopy for the queen bed and I must say I am so very disappointed. It is so poorly made that it tore in places just taking it out of the box. The fact that there is no piping or finishing of the edges means it will continue to tear. One edge has just hanging material and wasn't cut properly. It drapes so low on our queen bed and looks like it is something we tried to make fit vs. is appropriate for the bed. There are not a lot of options for children's canopy but this was a big loser. If my daughter wasn't so keen on having a canopy right now, I would have sent it back. It's a big waste of money as I now need to find a proper canopy.
